Me neurotic?
My boyfriend and I aren’t very much alike. When I went to the Christmas party last week my bosses’ wife commented on how we weren’t very much alike. I compared it to Monica and Chandler on Friends. They aren’t very much alike, but how their characters are work very well together and bring out a hidden side in each other. I had no idea how close I am to the character Monica until I watched a rerun of Friends called “The one with all the candy”. For those of you who have never seen the episode Monica makes a bunch of candy and puts them in a basket on their apartment door to bring the neighbors together. Soon enough her candy is a huge hit and she’s going crazy to keep up with the demand not wanting to disappoint anyone. The part that opened my eyes though was when she has trays of candy lined up, with me thinking again “smart woman, good clean and clear assembly line”, and she’s working on them when Ross, her brother, comes in asking if he can help. She tells him, “No, you don’t know the system.” I laughed until I realized that’s me!! That’s why I don’t like people touching my stuff or doing my work! Even if I showed them my system there’s a good chance they won’t do it that way and change it to what fits them.
The more I watch Friends the more I realize I am almost as neurotic as Monica. While I don’t fold the corner of the toilet paper into a corner, like you should do with rolls of tape not put into dispensers, there is a right and wrong way to put on a roll of toilet paper. Unlike Monica, who would probably just change it herself, after not being able to get my boyfriend to do it the right way I just took our toilet paper holder down and so it sits on the tank. So what is the right way you ask? That’s an easy answer. The toilet paper must roll over, not under. This way no matter what time you have to go or how dark it is the toilet paper always easily rolls off the roll of toilet paper. :) I am no where a neat freak, but only time will tell when I finally reach the deep end and become one. <_<
Oh yeah on the bright side his mom did say we could spend the money as we liked, but would prefer we saved it for his college education. If that’s how you feel then why write it’s for his college education?? Why not just write “Here’s X money. I hope you can save it for your college education, but will understand if you can’t and I hope you enjoy the money.” She was just trying to be sneaky and manipulative.
Haha! I'm not a neat freak, but I like having my own assembly line, too. It bugs me when they change it...especially when it seems so logical to
me. XP Oh, and I know a lot of sneaky, manipulative people. I spot them so easily and it gets so annoying!

Lol!! Which season is that episode? I would love to watch it. Well, I can't have much things my way since I won't remember how things go. Being Monica isn't that bad.. she keeps things in order so that things are easier to find when you need it. I don't like sneaky and manipulative people that much, they're annoying in many ways.
