It was bound to happen.
I'm sorry, but it was bound to happen. A South Korean tourist was accidentally shot in North Korea for accidentally going into a military restricted area (on the beach). My mom had pictures of the river in Korea that separates the two countries. Military lines both sides and if someone is on the wrong side with the wrong flag you're shot. Granted that was in the early 80's, but considering how many Koreans still dislike/hate Japanese it seems they know how to hold their grudges. Given what country she's in and the history you'd think someone who's 53 years old would have known better. You keep your wits about you and make sure you're not going into a zone you shouldn't be. Could it have been on purpose? That's always a possibility.
The new iPhone was released today. I was shocked to learn the Japanese has never had a touch screen phone before this one. I mean really? They can use their phone as wallets and yet they haven't thought of touch screen before? Very weird. I'd rather give up the touch screen and have the phone wallet. So sweet!
My husband and I finally got our stimulus check and so once we've cleaned out our house so we can get a new TV. It's going to be a 40" LCD, but which brand and such we aren't sure, either a Sony or a Samsung. I thought about a smaller one, but because you lose height I wanted the 40". It's probably going to be a month or more before we get the TV since there's a lot to do other then just buying it. We'll be moving into our living room once we get it and because we signed a year lease they gave us a free carpet cleaning which I want to use. We don't have a sofa or recliners yet, but we have a coffee table and end/side table! XD I bought them when the Bombay company was going out of business. If I had more money we would have bought more then that. I miss that store. That was a really fun window shopping store.
So for my birthday I bought Sex Pistols volume 5...excuse me Love Pistols (stupid name change) and the last volume of Kimi wa Petto. Love Pistols was great and I can't wait for the next volume to come out. The chapters that Nakama didn't put out were everything I hoped they would be. Since it's one of my favorite stories within that series I'm really glad the translators didn't fuck things up. Kimi wa Petto was...good. It wasn't great or wonderful or something that I could rave about. It was a nice ending and wrapped things up. It was just...I'm not sure how to explain it. I was expecting more. It's like when you work your ass off and you get a B on a test or project instead of an A. It's disappointing, you aren't satisfied and a bit pissed that someone thought you deserved a B so you ask them why and end up arguing about their grading system. Not that it's ever happened to me... <_<;; Any ways, it's like that. I wasn't completely dissatisfied with the ending or volume, but compared to the others I feel shorted.
Oh yeah Sayumi might be able to see Arashi!!! I'm going to send her money to help her go. Oh, I'm not a nice person. This is for purely selfish reasons. I want pictures of JUN and to see what they offer for stuff at the event! XD I feel bad since part of it is the twin's birthday money, but I found out if you send a card and not a package their post office doesn't check it. So I'll send them a birthday card with a money order instead of the normal one manga volume for each with some Pocky. XD
So I found a Korean actor that I thought was good looking. I know, he's the second one I've seen so far. It's not amazing or anything, but he's better then most. It's the second male lead in My Girl. I gave the show another shot. It still dies down for me after a while, but in the beginning the show is funny as hell. I love it when she tells the male lead he's going to regret it. My favorite is when he brushes her off at the airport and is rude to her. She then acts like she's his wife with a child, how awful he is to just leave his family and how her mom told her not to trust "main land" guys. She causes just a huge scene and is crying and loud in the middle of the airport. Then his whole plane ride everyone's looking at him like he's scum and one older woman asks how he can leave his wife. Funny stuff, but couldn't save the second half of the show.
North Korea is such a pitiful place...
Japanese phones are cool.. I don't know why but they're cool..
40" LCD?? O.O cool... Those babies are awesome!
Sayumi's lucky and Katrina-nee, is Katrina-nee.

Half is nice cause with Iphone, you can't type fast, especially when you need to rush to send the text.
You could always ask for the address XD but its okay.. you could always just wish me for my birthday.
I graduated from my pre-university course.. which isn't a big deal. The next time round, it'll be like the 3rd time I graduate.

Aha! Sound nice. Though I won't get a touch screen myself because I have sweaty palms so its hard.
Awww.. those people are bad... I know how you feel.. Some of my friends may think that I'm stupid or something but I honestly don't see a problem in giving my address or phone number out. I mean what's the big deal? Phone numbers can be change while if you get someone harassing you at your home, you could just call the police =D

better or not i don't know. all i know is ... family members - some - will fight over the deceased's properties.
and spekaing of that ... the only thing that connects me and sis who we r not on talking terms is my mother. once she dies ... both of us will go on our separate ways ... and out future generations would not know each other.
