dictionary.com
per·fect adj., n. pur-fikt; v. per-fekt
–adjective

4. entirely without any flaws, defects, or shortcomings: a perfect apple; the perfect crime.

5. accurate, exact, or correct in every detail: a perfect copy.

So I go to Kinko's yesterday because I need my thank you card paper cut in half so I can finally get them done and sent out. I ask if there's anything here that can cut the paper perfectly in half. Not close to, not as good as one can get...perfectly. I'm then shown a cutting board that seems nice enough, but it didn't cut it right. The guy then does a sample and it's slightly crooked, one side was about 2 millimeters higher and sloped. I told him it needs to be perfect and he says it is. I'm getting frustrated because you can see the slight angle and when I point it out he looks at me like I'm nuts! I then ask if there's something that can cut it PERFECTLY...again. He tells me a machine can, but it costs more. I told him I didn't care as long as it was done perfectly. I guess to him paying $1.50 for something that I could do myself for much less was stupid. On the bright side because of dealing with a someone who couldn't remember what the word perfect means God blessed me with seeing a cherry red Ducati Monster parked so I got to look at it for a long time! Yuuuum.

It's like when I went to Michaels to buy an edge puncher. I like Martha Stewart's stuff because it's nice quality, solid and steal. I asked an employee if there was more of these, but with a different style in the back or on an isle since the flower one I wanted was gone. She tells me they are on isle 5. I go there and it's different brands... I KNOW! I got the different brand since I didn't feel like dealing with it anymore. I swear sometimes I want to hit my head on something hard to dull the pain I get from dealing with stupid people.

Last Saturday my husband and I went shopping, had lunch out and went to see Iron Man. I recommend the movie if you haven't seen it. It was very good and really entertaining. (I never read the comics so those that have might feel differently.) I totally love the car too! It was on Dirt last season and is just kickass hot! I got the "you're crazy" look from my husband again. I have this "thing" for crisp bills. I really like them and they are really hard to come by. He says there isn't a difference, but there is! I was paying for the movie ticket (he had a free admission he won at work) and I pulled out all of my cash and quickly picked the bills I wanted to give the teller. When we walked away that's when I got "the look". He turned to me and said, "You took that long to make sure you kept the crisp bills didn't you?" I can't help it. They are smooth, crisp, still have their ridges and if they come fresh from the bank they still smell like their printing ink and paper...yuuum! XD I never ask for crisp bills or anything like that. I'm not THAT bad. I just appreciate and tend to keep them longer then crap bills that are all yucky. :)

So the new season of Flipping Out started on Bravo last week. I am totally in love with this show. He is a bit nuts, but he can be as persnickety as he wants and people not only listen to him, but they do what he says! I wish I had his job... Example the episode last week he was getting a house ready for the people to do a final walk through so he was having his painter do some final touch ups. Well when you do that even if you have the exact color it won't match perfectly. You'll be able to tell. He knows it, I know it...anyone who looks at a touch up job should be able to see it. Well on a bathroom wall there was some touch up needing to be done. You could totally tell and he wanted the guy to call him back to do the job. Before he even mentioned what the guy should have done, it was a wall with a door, I told my husband. He looked at me like I was nuts then Jeff said it on the show and he looked at him like he was nuts. The painter should have painted the section of the wall from top to bottom and from the side of the door over. It still wouldn't perfectly match, but you wouldn't be able to obviously tell there were touch ups done. :) This season is SO going to be a good one!

So many of my fav. shows are on or going to be on soon; Burn Notice, The Closer, Project Runway, So you think you can dance and Psych! I'm not as into So you think you can dance as much as I was, but I'm totally rooting for Katee and Joseph right now. I stopped watching Top Chef this year because the guy I liked got kicked off, not the first time I've done that to a Bravo show. XD The first season of Project Runway...Austin should have SO been in the top three. I saw him on some show recently and he's still looks total pretty boy gorgeous! Not "Jun" pretty boy gorgeous, but damn close!

Speaking of shows I watched My Girl a Korean drama and I think it just proves I'm not into Korean guys. Out of all the shows I've watched only one guy has even made me think they were good looking (the male lead in Dal Ja's Spring). Well there was one guy in Coffee Prince who I thought was really good looking, but he turned out to be Japanese so it doesn't count. I wasn't impressed with the show either. Funny and unpredictable at first, but by the 5th episode I knew what would happen and the episodes became sooooo long for me.

I also watched It Started With a Kiss and I'm totally hooked on the series. I've watched it about 3 times now, both seasons. I love the OST and listen to Neng by Neng (Can you...) and Say U Love Me constantly. (Probably much to the dismay of my co-workers.) If you know Mandarin can you please confirm if little cutie is xiao ke ai or hao ke ai? The subbers say it's xiao ke ai and the twins say it's hao ke ai. I asked a guildie of mine who knows Mandarin, but he isn't sure either. :( It's going to be the name of an alt. XD I think the best thing about the series is that it's even better then the manga. It's such a rare thing to happen. I tried the anime version, but I think I love the drama too much right now. I couldn't even get through the first episode without doing a comparison. I guess once I keep rewatching the series I'll try the anime.

Sorry. As I mentioned in the chat box there's some html showing on your page, but it could be the img tag you're using for that guy's picture.
» Praetorian on 2008-07-05 03:23:15

Yea, I left something in the main chatbox cause I thought you were there. heh. It got brushed away by the time you were back.

Where do you have the image pasted? When I look at it in the source code, the reason it's broken is because right in the middle of the img tag there's a
tag, which causes the html to end and the rest of the img tag to be output as text.
» Praetorian on 2008-07-05 05:57:54

Sorry.. that's a < br / > tag..
» Praetorian on 2008-07-05 05:59:55

Haha, runaway cavies. That would have been entertaining. "Yeah, we found them, so we made them part of the exhibit..."
