Why did the chickens cross the road?
To get to the other side of course! As we were coming back from my mom's house, mind you this is the city and not country, we saw a black/grey and white chicken and a brown/rusty red chicken slowly cross in front of us. Seriously! They almost got hit by a car as they crossed too. It was funny as hell, but as my husband remarked after marking the normal chicken road crossing joke, "Only in Madera."
This weekend was a very busy one for me. I still haven't finished my update on the website like I wanted to. On Sunday I went to my mom's house to help her get ready for her house to go onto the market. It looks nice, much better then we lived there. New paint, carpet, etc. will do that to a house though. I am sooo sore! I put together a bunch of stuff, used muscles I forgot I had and moved more furniture then I ever have.
I know I said I wasn't going to say anything about the new house I looked up, but I lied and I'm going to. We don't qualify for the program, their website says one thing and when you call in they say another. Oh well I'm moving onto plan B to get the house, but in order for it to work my husband has to see it. I mean you can't get the full effect and understand what you're giving up if you haven't seen it right? I'm also going to be compromising in order to move in. In order to pay the HoA fees I will be giving up my cable. This is huge since I love my cable and have held very firm about not giving it up. To get this house I would soooo give it up though. We'll see though. This weekend or sometime this week we'll go walk through it and then I'll tell my husband my plan. It's a simple plan, but without him seeing everything it would fail. He's not the type to look at a floor plan and say, "Great house with amazing features and very well planned out!" I hope he will go with my plan. /cross fingers
Lol! My brother always askes me "why does a chicken cross the road, roll in the mud and cross the road again?"
Giving up cable?? O_O I'd never be able to give mine up.. Hope you'll get the house you want.
